Steven has been practicing law for over 28 years. He is a certified mediator and arbitrator before the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He has been a sole practitioner since 1989. He has handled over 7,000 cases as an attorney including over 150 domestic relations mediations and over 250 civil mediations representing parties.

Steven worked his way through college by working at a paper mill in Macon, Georgia. He has a BS degree (cum laude 1982) from Georgia College & State University and a Juris Doctorate degree (1985) from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has a broad law practice background.

Matthew C. Hulbert

Matthew graduated with a B.B.A. Real Estate from the University of Georgia in 2004 and received his J.D. from Mercer University in 2007. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Houston County Bar Association.

Matthew has a general practice in the areas of real estate and business transactions, general civil litigation, probate and estate matters, and family and domestic matters. He also assists in prosecuting Municipal Court cases for the City of Perry and representing the Perry-Houston County Airport Authority. Matthew also is an adjunct professor at Mercer University teaching Business Law.

A. James Rockefeller, Esq. has been a member of the Georgia Bar Association since 1995 and the Florida Bar Association since 1989. He received a bachelor of arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 1984 and a law degree from John Marshall Law School, Chicago in 1989.

Over the past 16 years, Jim has been involved in a wide variety of successful litigation experiences in various states and venues. Between 1989 and 1993, and again from 1994-1995, he was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Miami/Dade County, Florida. While there, he participated in more than 50 successful jury trials. His successful trial experience on both prosecution and defense teams has equipped him to handle any kind of case successfully – from high profile criminal cases to domestic disputes. Before launching the Rockefeller Law Center in Warner Robins, he was the attorney of counsel for another local law firm.

He holds memberships and offices in numerous civic and professional groups and founded Families Against Methamphetamine Abuse, Inc. (FAMA), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Central Georgia families cope with drug abuse. He currently serves as FAMA’s president, and as such has assisted numerous families in Middle Georgia.
